Carpal Tunnel Care... The Way It Should Be

Do You Have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

Have you ever wondered if you might have carpal tunnel syndrome? Carpal tunnel syndrome is one of the most common problems of the hand and wrist and can affect many of our daily activities.

Do you wake up at night with numbness and burning in your hands?

Do your hands go numb frequently while driving?

These are two of the common symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Take our 2 minute Carpal Tunnel Quiz to gauge your likelihood of having carpal tunnel syndrome.

As an orthopedic hand clinic specializing in carpal tunnel care, we have eliminated the need for doctor referrals and a typical wait of 10-14 weeks from diagnosis to surgery. Our all-inclusive clinic efficiently creates a streamlined guest experience allowing the consultation, nerve conduction study, and surgery to be completed in as little as 1 day if desired.

In our clinic you will meet directly with Dr. Peterson to assess and discuss your treatment options, have your electromyogram on site if needed, and should your treatment include surgery, we have a custom designed carpal tunnel surgery suite within our clinic.

would give 10 stars if I could. I'm 2.5 months post op from having ulnar nerve decompressed and its been life changing. the whole process from start to finish was seamless. I was referred to Dr. Peterson and came from out state. He was so accommodating with my schedule. We had multiple phone calls and text conversations. the attention to detail and care I received was outstanding. His wife, Britt, was also involved and so helpful at schedule and answering questions. they even took time to talk with me while they were on spring break with their kids. This place is incredible. Highly recommended.

My experience with Dr Peterson and staff was amazing. They explained everything from the consultation to my post-op. So glad that I went through with this. I don’t have any numbness in my hands and arms. It’s also relieved the pain in my shoulder and neck. This has been the best experience I’ve had with a doctor and staff. Would recommend this to anyone dealing with these issues.

I live in Las Vegas and made the very smart decision to drive to Utah to see Dr. Peterson and his staff. I needed bilateral carpal tunnel release and trigger thumb release surgeries. As someone who has insurance but not a surgical benefit, it was important to me to find a way to make this affordable but even more importantly, that it was done right. Ideally, I didn't want to be placed under anesthesia but my options in Las Vegas were limited. After my first conversation with Dr. Peterson I knew I found the right place. Not only did he explain in detail the process of my surgeries but the recovery and the cost. All up front. No hidden fees, no surprises. He was amazing at explaining why I could/should do all three of my procedures at once, and he was absolutely right. He was also just the most present and articulate Dr. I have ever been to. I had suffered for more than 2 years with pain and severe numbness. I had tried all the injections, braces and therapy and nothing worked. I wasn't sleeping, I couldn't' use my thumb and I was so frustrated. After my surgery, the numbness was gone immediately. Immediately. The healing process was very sore at times, but I was still able to do everything for myself, even with stitches in both wrists and one thumb. I followed all of Dr. Peterson's advice and pushed myself a little more every day. I am a month out from my surgery and I am sleeping without waking. I have no numbness, my thumb doesn't lock and except for some normal sensitivity in my incision scars, I feel like everything is healed. I am able to do everything except push myself up from a seated position with my palms but I know this will take time and improves every single day. I wasn't concerned about being awake during my surgeries but I also opted not to watch. His amazing team with talk with you throughout the operation completely taking your mind off of what is happening. Not to mention, you can't feel it anyway. If you are worried about that part of the process, just talk to Dr. Peterson about it. Understanding what happens on surgery day, makes it feel so much less intimidating. Finally, the office and surgery suite are immaculate. Everything is clean and orderly and calm. There is no rush and no one shuffling you from one room to another. Everything is planned and executed perfectly. Every need thought of and planned for. I am sure the reason I waited so long to get treatment is because I was supposed to see Dr. Peterson. He was the best choice I could have made. I'm sure this review sounds like I know Dr. Peterson personally, but I can assure you I don't. I found him by accident and I am grateful for how much of my of my life he gave back to me.

Dr. Peterson and his staff are amazing! I was able to schedule online and get in quickly! At my consultation Austin and Hunter treated my husband and I like royalty! Their office is so welcoming and comfortable and I didn't feel like I was sitting in a clinic at all. I felt like Dr. Peterson really listened to me and understood my symptoms and needs. He also made sure I understood the entire process and answered all of my questions. During the procedure I had no pain and Dr. Peterson and Austin made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They had a ton of options to keep me relaxed like music on an alexa, headphones, and much more! Isaac was so helpful and when I would start to get nervous he would distract me. I thought it was cool that my husband was able to watch from the hallway through a glass wall and I was able to watch on a screen while Dr. Peterson explained what he was doing. The first two weeks post op I received text messages and videos to inform me on what to expect and remind me of what I needed to do and I loved that Dr. Peterson was so involved in the healing process. Four days post op I was back to doing some heavy activities and back to normal life with no more pain, tingling, or burning. I am 3 weeks post op and my carpal tunnel symptoms are gone. I waited two years in pain because I worried about the healing process and not being able to take care of my children. I wish I would've found them a long time ago! Not only was it the easiest process ever, but it was also the best priced. I was able to do both my hands instead of just one. I will and have already referred many friends and family to them. Thank you Dr. Peterson and your amazing staff for giving me not only my hands back, but my life as well!!

An unique perspective for this review. I have not, and do not have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I do not personally know the pain and numbness associated with the syndrome. Nor do I know the direct impact of the surgery and recovery following. What I do know is what it's like to work with Elite Carpal Tunnel from the view point of the spouse. Dr. Peterson was nothing short of amazing - the medical field needs more providers like him and his staff. Even over the phone it felt like they cared and wanted to share what they had to offer. During the visit, they were just as professional. After a quick doctor consult where he even took the time to answer my questions, my wife decided to have the procedure on both hands. I was allowed to watch the general procedure from the hallway where I could see the monitor. My wife has been singing the office's praises since the procedure just over a week ago. They use technology like it should be used, not just the procedure, but text messages as reminders and communication during the recovery process. Shows the care a smaller, specialized office can offer patients. Thank you for helping ME sleep as my wife now sleeps through the night.

Dr. Peterson and his staff were fantastic! They are super cost-effective, quick, and easy to work with. I made my appointment online and was in within a week. My insurance wasn’t working out, but I was able to set up a payment plan with the local credit union. Dr. Peterson was completely open about everything, which made it easy to trust him. I felt no pain at all while they were doing the carpal tunnel release. Before the surgery, I had constant pain and numbness in my hands, especially at night. I had the surgery about a month ago, and haven’t had it since. The recovery has been quick and smooth. I just have a little tenderness, but I can feel it improving every day. Go check these guys out!

I had both wrists done at the same time. The whole process start to finish was painless both physically and financially. Dr. Peterson took plenty of time to explain and allow me to ask questions and the staff was great. Super nice to do the whole thing in his office without all the fuss and cost of a hospital or surgical center. Highly recommend
